Web Site Address:  http://www.swrcb.ca.gov   Protection                   The energy challenge facing California is real.  Every Californian needs to take immediate action to reduce energy consumption.  For a list of simple ways you can reduce demand and cut your energy costs, see our Web-site at http://www.swrcb.ca.gov.                       MAR 23 2001                                     To: Bay-Delta Water Rights Hearing Service List DRAFT ORDER FOR THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY/SACRAMENTO-SAN JOAQUIN ESTUARY    (Mar 22, 2001 Draft Order is in PDF format; Click here to download) The State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) will consider adopting the enclosed draft order regarding the San Francisco Bay/Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Esturary at its meeting scheduled for Wednesday, April 4, 2001, at 1:00 pm.  Also considered at that time will be a resolution finding that the project entitled “Planning Investigation for Implementation of the Phase 8 Settlement Agreement” is consistant with the Bay-Delta Water Quality Control Plan and the Safe, Clean, Reliable, Water Supply Act (Water Code 78681 et seq.). The meeting will be held in the 2nd Floor, Central Valley Auditorium in the new Cal/EPA Building at 1001 I Street in Sacramento. At the Board meeting, the parties will have a brief opportunity to comment on the proposed order.  Each party should limit their presentation to 5 minutes and interested persons should limit their presentations to 3 minutes.  Comments should be limited to the general acceptability of the proposed order, or to possible technical corrections. Parties may not introduce evidence at the SWRCB meeting. Parties shall submit no later than 5:00 pm, Friday, March 30, 2001, all written comments regarding any requested changes to the proposed order.  Please mail written comments to the following address: Harry M.
