    SUBJECT OF HEARING

    The State Water Resources Control Board is conducting the Bay-Delta Water Rights Hearing for the purpose of receiving evidence regarding the rights and responsibilities of water right holders whose use of their water rights affects the beneficial uses of water in the San Francisco Bay/Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Estuary.

    PLEASE TAKE NOTICE

    That Phase 8 of the hearing, originally scheduled to commence on August 8, 2000, has been

    POSTPONED

    at the request of the Department of Water Resources and the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. The deadlines for submitting exhibits and legal briefs, which were originally June 30, 2000, and July 21, 2000, respectively, have also been postponed. The hearing will not commence until early next year. You will be notified when the hearing is rescheduled and when any submittals will be required.
